Target Audience

I and Xiangyu thought very hard and seriously about the target audience as we knew that it would have a major impact on the various aspects of our film, such as the synposis, the setting and the moral of the film. We felt that it would be best to have a target audience of teenagers and young adults as we felt that would be able to base a film around this target audience well. We felt that we could make the film relate to the audience as we are of a similar age ourselves, and so know what people of that age group are interested in. The target audience completely influenced all aspects of our film,  such as the characters, as we wanted to make sure that they were realistic and that they related to people of the age group we were aiming at - 16-21.
